Living in Kent

Our University sits in the heart of Kent, with vibrant cities and towns, beautiful countryside and excellent transport links

Garden of England

Kent offers room to relax, with great green spaces and some of the country’s most breathtaking beaches right on your doorstep. Canterbury sits at the heart of this, with a vibrant, diverse and student-friendly atmosphere and cobbled streets steeped in history.

The county has a lively arts and culture scene, with award-winning theatres and galleries and a growing food and drink scene in revitalised towns like Margate, Whitstable and Folkestone. Medway is a growing hub for the cultural and creative industries, epitomised by new cultural hub the Docking Station which we will open in 2025.

Transport and housing

Our campuses are closely connected to the wider world, with London only an hour away by train and easy access to mainland Europe.
